StablesThe Stable

Beth operates her stable at Kingsgate, in beautiful King Township. It is 40 minutes north of Toronto, and conveniently located to Pearson International Airport.
Beth Underhill Stables at Kingsgate is a full service “A” circuit show barn offering individualized coaching programs for jumpers, hunters and equitation riders and specialized training programs for the development of top show horses.
This world class facility features modern, bright 12’ x 12’ box stalls along with first class amenities including heated wash stalls, grooming stalls, attached indoor arena, outdoor sand ring, heated viewing lounge, individual tack lockers, a kitchen and attached dining area.
The stables are situated on this pristine 100 acre facility that boasts a private championship 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, swimming pools and full club house facility. The clubhouse is available for individual and corporate functions, please contact us for more information.

Kings Gate

Coaching & Training

Beth is currently accepting students and horses at all levels. Beth’s students are in the Hunter, Equitation and Jumper divisions, from Juniors right up to the Grand Prix level. They regularly find themselves in the winners circle.

Beth also offers weekly training and boarding packages. Ship in lessons, at home or at shows, are welcome.

Kingsgate is a show barn geared towards horses and clients who wish to compete on the 'A' circuit and our boarding services reflect a high standard. We welcome enquiries.  

Clinics

Beth is a much sought after clinician and trainer. She is regularly called upon to lecture, particularly speaking with young people and a variety of different charities. Beth offers 1-3 day clinics to outside stables. Enquiries are welcome.

Seminars & Workshops

Beth has partnered with Professional Life and Mental Performance Coach Lindy Welsby to provide the “Winning Edge Seminars”. These series of highly interactive workshops help refine riders skills and increase their beliefs and confidence. Enquires are welcome.

Monopoly 1979-2011

Schomberg, Ontario – Monopoly, the horse Beth Underhill rode at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, died on November 16 at the age of 32. Monopoly earned more than $1 million in prize money throughout his illustrious show jumping career, and was inducted into the Jump Canada Hall of Fame in 2008.

Underhill and Monopoly enjoyed one of the longest partnerships in show jumping sport. Underhill first began riding Monopoly when he was 10 years old, and the pair enjoyed their last major grand prix victory, the $100,000 Treatwells Grand Prix held at HITS Ocala, FL, in 1999 when Monopoly was 20.
